Serge Severe
Los Angeles, California

Serge Severe was born in San Francisco, CA. His father is a master Latin percussionist who immigrated to the states from Nicaragua. Simply put, the rhythm is in Severe’s DNA. Combining Nicaragua’s rich history of poetry, he has his own presence on the mic, painting pictures with slick wordplay, versatility, and storytelling. His latest album “Bella’s Son” is his most personal album to date. 

 We're excited to host Record Store Day 2025 at our little shop on April 12th! Thank you for sending wish lists and requests! There are a lot of titles this year so we narrowed it down to the most requested. We'll post more on which titles were allocated to us as soon as we get the final shipment.

Please keep in mind, we cannot hold titles for anyone, it's a first come, first serve basis. That's the fun part! Line up early to get the best chance of landing the titles on your list! We'll have delicious baked goods made by local food cart owners Avenue Saint Charles and coffee from Lionheart, all for free while you wait!

AND of course we will have our favorite DJs creating a fun vibe while you shop!

Join us and DJ Wicked for his annual Winter Coat Drive! Last year you gave generously but let’s kick it up a notch to help the many living outside in the cold and wet winter. All donations made at the shop will be handed over to the Portland Rescue Mission. This is a community effort to help those less fortunate so let’s take action!

Now the fun part: DJ Wicked will have a pop up mech shop at 503 Records with limited edition shirts, hats, and more! He will also grace us on the wheels of steel with a live set. If you’ve never seen him before get ready for a turntable clinic! I’ve seen him so many times and still am in awe of his skills and party rocking mastery!

Come celebrate our first Record Store Day (Black Friday) on November 29, 2024! Tables full of Limited and Exclusive RSD titles for sale to support and celebrate our independent record shop and others around the globe! We'll have free baked goods from local food cart @avenuesaintcharles and free coffee from Lionheart Coffee. All shoppers will receive a free record tote and have a chance to enter prize giveaways.
